The UTEM Group performs a full range of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at power, metallurgical, petrochemical and other industrial facilities.
Analysis and Control:
- Design review, proposal of design improvements
- Incoming inspection of equipment
- development of technical commissioning documentation, operating instructions and drawings
- supervision of power plants equipment and piping installation
- technical management of post-installation flushings, blowdowns, individual testing of equipment and piping, functional testing of systems and equipment, integrated testing of constructed or upgraded power facilities
- elaboration of axonometric drawings and tables of springs tension for piping hanging & suspension systems
- correction of operating instructions and drawings following the commissioning activities and profile tests
List of commissioning activities:
- setup of gas control units (GCU), their instrumentation and automated control systems
- setup of water treatment plants of boiler equipment
- direct measurements of the content of nitrogen, sulfur, carbon compounds and other harmful substances in the boiler flue gases and industrial gas emissions
- pre-commissioning and commissioning of heat and power equipment, piping, electrical machinery, instrumentation and automatic control equipment of power facilities after the construction, modernization and repair, as well as of the equipment and piping operating on natural gas with a pressure of up to 12 kg/cm2, on liquefied gas with a pressure of 16 kg/cm2 , blast furnace and coke oven gas
- engineering support to installation & construction companies, operating organizations in the construction and start-up of power facilities
- inspection and setup of hydraulic and temperature control of heating networks
- energy audit of power and industrial facilities
- profile and environmental-thermal performance tests of boiler equipment of power and industrial facilities
- positional measurement of planes and axial lines of the shafts of power equipment, and measurement of alignment of nuclear reactors channels with the aid of special optical equipment
